Radish is the root of a plant related closely to mustard and a surprisingly healthful plant. It’s generally used as a garnish or salad ingredient because of its mild or peppery flavour and unique red and white colour combination, but it’s much more than just a garnish. Radishes are a great source of vitamin C and are rich in minerals like sulphur, iron, and iodine. A superb variety Radish Albena produces scrumptious, pure white, spherical roots with white flesh and a moderately hot taste. Radish Albena is a medium early variety suitable for cultivation indoors or outdoors in open ground. Fast and easy to grow Radish Albena matures as quickly as five to eight weeks after sowing and shows a high resistance to bolting.
