Carrot Rondo is a very early maturing variety of the Paris Market type. The roots have a high sugar and dry matter content and show excellent resistance to splitting. The heads of Carrot Rondo do not turn green either on the surface or internally. Sow from as early as possible in spring until mid August. Rondo can also be forced in hotbeds or under cover. Carrot Rondo is a tasty, uniform, globe shaped carrot with good internal and external colouring and high yields of sweet, tender roots. Ideal for growing in shallow soils as well as in containers.
