Seed Potatoes

A first early variety bred in Ayrshire by Mr John Watson and first introduced around 1931.

Tubers are oval shaped with white skin and white flesh.

Much prized for its cooking qualities Ballydoon has a floury texture and a superb new potato flavour.

Yields are described as moderate to good.

Easy to grow in a variety of conditions Ballydoon is often described as the ideal potato for the first time grower.

Very popular in Ireland and Scotland.

Supplied as Irish Certified Seed potatoes.
