Product Information

Raspberry Canes Autumn Bliss is the recommended choice for autumn fruit. It is prolific and will significantly out yield other autumn fruiting varieties. The firm texture and good flavour of the large bright red berries which appear from mid August until the first frosts make this a excellent choice. Autumn Bliss fruits on new wood and the canes should therefore only be cut to ground level in winter not in late summer as with summer fruiting varieties. Raspberries are a thirsty crop so keep the plants well watered during the growing season, apply a good general fertilizer approx. 2 oz. per square yard along the rows of canes in March, water in and apply a mulch of well rotted farm yard manure or compost.  When growing raspberries in containers it is important to remove any flowers from the canes in the first season after planting. Autumn Bliss has good resistance to raspberry dieback disease.

R.H.S. Award of Garden Merit. (AGM).

All canes are Ministry inspected.
