Product Information

 Wargrave Pink

Commonly known as Cranes-bill and first grown in the British Isles in the 16th century.

Not to be confused with the half hardy Pelargonium which is popularly referred to as Geranium.

The Geranium of the herbaceous border is a hardy perennial which is grown as a ground cover plant, its mounds of dense and deeply divided leaves serving to suppress weed growth.

Geraniums thrive in any reasonable garden soil and will grow happily in sun or dappled shade.

Wargrave Pink is immensely popular and is smothered in shell-pink flowers from May - August.

One of the older varieties of cranesbill it has become a garden classic.

The saucer shaped flowers should be removed once they have faded.

Keep watch for slugs in spring and cut back the stems to ground level in autumn.
