Product Information

 CORDYLINE Little Star

Sometimes called Cordyline Little Redstar.

A brand new variety of the ever popular Cabbage Tree.

The long, slender leaves spring from the centre of the plant and arch gently near the top.

Evergreen and bright brownish-bronze in colour these sword-like leaves are delicately edged with pinkish red.

This gives the whole plant a wonderful pinkish sheen.

These palm-like plants with their architectural form make an attractive feature and add a tropical feel to borders and beds.

Cordyline Little Star is also ideal in pots and containers where the handsome foliage can be shown at its best.

Perfect when used on the patio or in the courtyard

Prefers a site in full sun and although any reasonable garden soil is suitable it must be moist but well drained.

Being hardy to -7C means it should fit perfectly into the climate of the British Isles.

A tough and resilient plant that shows a robustness rarely seen in other cordyline cultivars.

This low-maintenance, exotic-looking evergreen will give years of colourful enjoyment to your garden or patio.

All picture used are of mature plants and may not reflect the plant at all times of the year.

Plants are supplied in 9cm pots and can be planted out immediately but may benefit from growing on in a slightly larger container for a short time before transplanting to their final growing position.

We ask all our buyers to remember plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just enjoying a well-earned rest before bursting into action for the new season. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Goods will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission for their return.  Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original dispatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been dispatched in error.
