Senecio cineraria
Senecio cineraria has acquired a host of common names, Dusty Millar, Silver Ragwort, Silver Dust and Silver Brocade are but a few.
The names all refer to the attractive colour of the plants felt like pubescent leaves.
Much used in spring landscaping projects Dusty Miller is also useful in pots and containers.
Does best in well drained, even sandy soils, it is fairly drought tolerant once established, but should be watered during prolonged dry periods.
Can reach a height of 20-30cm.
