BLACK-EYED SUSAN
Thunbergia alata
Thunbergia alata commonly known as Black Eyed Susan or Clock Vine.
An annual climbing plant with yellow five lobed flowers and a distinctive black centre or eye.
They are fast growers and bloom quickly from seed and are great plants for hanging baskets or for trellises.
The leaves are green, covered in fuzzy hair, heart-shaped and sometimes coarsely toothed. The stems are hairy and twining.
Often climbs to 8 feet tall
