Tres Chic
Introduced in 1992 Tres Chic is another member of the Lily Flowering Group and is quite exquisite.
Flowering pure white in late May, the elegant blooms not only make excellent cut flowers they are equally at home in the border or in the patio planter.
The tall stems make this variety susceptible to wind damage and it needs to be planted in a well sheltered site.
Superb when planted with other dark coloured varieties.
Plant bulbs 4–5 inches deep in fertile, well-drained, soil, during autumn.
Remove the flowers as they fade to prevent plants setting seed but allow foliage to yellow and wither for approx. 6 weeks before removing it.
