Product Information

Sometimes know as Shrubby Veronica.

A dwarf, evergreen shrub which forms a tight, evergreen dome of light green foliage, up to 90 cm high, and slightly wider than high.

The leaves are elongated, bright green, are glossy on the upper surface and are only 2cms long.

Masses of white flowers in clusters cover the entire plant in June and July.

Regarded as hardy, this Hebe is very popular in U.K. and Irish gardens.

Native to the drier mountains of South Island, New Zealand it is best grown in full sun.

Plant is salt and pollution tolerant so is therefore suitable for city or coastal gardens.

It can be container grown or situated at the front of a sunny border where it will attract wildlife such as bees and butterflies.

Makes an extremely convincing if unauthentic contribution to a Japanese garden.

Needs minimal pruning.

R.H.S. Award of Garden Merit.

Plants are despatched as well rooted Jumbo Plugs and are best grown on in 9 or 10cm pots before being transplanted in their final positions.
