Product Information

 ESCALLONIA

Iveyi

Originally found growing at Caerhays, Cornwall.

An upright shrub with dark green glossy foliage and huge clusters of small white bell shaped flowers in autumn.

Lime tolerant and drought resistant it will thrive on any well drained soil.

Escallonia Iveyi is easy to maintain, simply cut back the old flowering growth immediately after flowering.

Large unwieldy plants can also be hard pruned at this time.

If left untrimmed Escallonia Iveyi will grow to around 2 meters high with a spread of 1 meter.

Excellent as a hedge especially in coastal areas.

Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.

All pictures used are of mature plants in full bloom and may not necessarily reflect plants at this time of year.

Our plants of Escallonia Iveyi are supplied ex. 10cm pots approx. 6-8 inches tall, they can be planted out immediately but best results are obtained when they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions

FREE DELIVERY

We ask all our buyers to remember plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website. This is quite normal and not a matter for any worry or concern, it is likely to be in perfect condition for the time of year and just enjoying a well-earned rest before bursting into action for the new season. Particularly in autumn and winter many shrubs will lose their leaves and look rather bare, gaunt and stick-like and from August onwards many perennial plants may not even be showing above the soil.

We want you to be happy with your purchase and all our items are checked and inspected visually before packing. In the unlikely event of a problem please advise us at sales@sycamoretrading.c.uk within 48hrs of delivery. Due to the nature of the goods we cannot accept any responsibility for their failure after planting as pests, disease, poor horticultural practice, extremes of weather and many other factors outside our control all take their toll. Goods will only be accepted for return after seller has been informed and given permission for their return.  Refunds will be issued when items are received back in saleable condition within 14 days from original despatch date. Buyer must pay all return charges except where an item has been despatched in error.
